Touriga Nacional, one of the iconic indigenous grapes of Portugal, lends its black-fruits and violet aromas to large ranges of blends - including the famous Port wines. Nevertheless, only a few producers master its complexity and dare to produce a monovarietal.

Quinta do Perdigão is a small family-owned property with 8ha of bio certified vines – that probably has the highest concentration of award-winning wines per hectare in the whole of Portugal.

The Touriga Nacional carries an incredible and distinctive pallet of aromas (blueberries, blackberries, black cherries, plum and violet), well accompanied by a surprising acidity - all of this, rounded by almost 10 years of ageing – a rarity in Portugal.

It is a perfect match for refined meat dishes, a good plate of Portuguese cheeses and even bacalhau.
