A relaxed morning in one of Portugal's rarest wine regions — just outside Lisbon
Start your day among the vines in our vineyards, Quinta da Corrieira, a small family winery just outside Lisbon (20 minutes). Explore the vineyard and winery, then sit down to taste a selection of still and rare Carcavelos wines, produced at the Quinta.
Our Quinta is located between the river Tejo and the Atlantic ocean, in the historic Carcavelos wine region. It is one of the last privately owned estates in the region still producing wine on a working scale. The Morning Wine Experience is designed to get to know our vineyards, winery and the wines we produce.
The experience begins at 11am with a guided walk through the vineyard and winery. You will see the grape varieties growing in the field, understand how the estate's wines are made on a genuinely small scale, and learn about the story of Carcavelos wine. Portugalssmallest DOC and a regional tradition once celebrated at royal courts across Europe, today kept alive by only a handful of producers.
After the tour, you will sit down for a guided tasting of three wines made on the estate. The tasting opens with the Juntos Branco, our still white wine, followed by the Juntos Tinto, a red wine that we recently added to our range. The experience closes with a taste of our estate Carcavelos — a rare fortified wine produced in very small quantities at Corrieira, and one of the few expressions of this historic style still being made in the region today.
The Morning Wine Experience is designed to give you an authentic experience: good wine, good conversation, and a genuine connection to where and how the wines are made.
