Douro, Quinta do Espinho, Senior, 75cl, 2019
Quinta do Espinho is located on the left bank of the River Douro, at the mouth of the River Távora. Planted in 1985, the grape varieties, Touriga Nacional, oriented to the north at 100m, and Touriga Franca, oriented to the northwest at 150m, characterise the character and elegance of our terroir.
Dark ruby in colour, complex and intense on the nose. The palate is broad and concentrated, with freshness and balanced acidity, soft tannins and a long finish.
Vinified in granite lagares at a controlled temperature and aged in French oak casks for 9 months.
This new project challenges us, vintage after vintage, to make new and different batches from 2 grape varieties that convey our dedication and love of the land.
