Dão DOC, Quinta do Perdigão – Encruzado, 2024
If you believe that “another Encruzado from Dão” can no longer impress you, consider yourself challenged to try the Quinta do Perdigão 2024.
Quinta do Perdigão is a small family-owned property with 8ha of bio certified vines – that, probably, has the highest concentration of award-winning wines per hectare in the whole of Portugal.
With its structured and fresh profile, Encruzado boasts an incredible complexity of aromas, beginning with grapefruit, lemon, and elderflower, and evolving into a long finish with notes of passion fruit and almond. It pairs beautifully with sushi, sashimi, as well as refined fish dishes and risottos.
