Bucelas is one of the most traditional DOC of Portugal and where the Arinto grape variety has been cultivated for thousands of years. Quinta da Murta is one of the most important properties of the appellation that still remains independent.
Quinta da Murta Brut Nature, follows the strict traditional method (méthode champenoise) - starting with a manual harvest, followed by two and a half years sur lie – definitely an exception outside France - and finishing with a manual degorgement.
The result is a well-balanced sparkling wine with medium body and great elegance. Its very fine bubbles bring to the nose the complexity of its flavors - the combination of fresh grapefruit and pears with the notes of the stage on lees. Definitely a pleasant companion for a celebration with friends.
