Bairrada DOC, Vadio Rose, Vadio
The sparkling Vadio Rosé showcases the remarkable versatility of the Baga grape. Sourced from a 30-year-old vineyard plot managed by a small farmer, this unique wine benefits from the natural vigor of Baga, which limits high maturation and ensures a dominant acidity.
The production process begins with the pressing of whole bunches, ensuring very soft extractions. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel and used barrels. By February, the final blend is crafted, followed by the tirage. After the second fermentation, the wine is aged in the bottle for a minimum of 18 months before dégorgement.
With its light salmon hue and fine, persistent bubbles, Vadio Rosé delivers an expressive nose filled with fresh red fruits. On the palate, vibrant acidity is beautifully balanced by the creamy texture of the mousse, offering a refreshing and elegant experience.
